For a long time, Botswana Football Association (BFA) leadership has been calling for professionalism in local football. One of the teams that have taken heed to this is Township Rollers. The club is by far the best run team in the country and its professionalism has not gone unnoticed as it attracts international interest. Township Rollers officials and players have since been invited to Lesotho to share their story with one team there. Rollers spokesperson Bafana Pheto confirmed that the team will be leaving for Lesotho next week Friday for a match against Matlama FC. Pheto said it all started with a visit by Lesotho football delegation which came to Botswana something in February. He said that after attending a number of their trainings the delegation was impressed about how Rollers was doing their things. The delegation also attended the team’s second leg of the Mascom Top 8 semi-final against Mochudi Centre Chiefs. “They then came to us after the game and told us how impressed they were with how we run things.
