
Mochudi Centre Chiefs are expected to launch a massive comeback in their fight to get to a respectable position on the log after signing 10 players during the recent transfer window. Chiefs’ officials are optimistic that the new signings team will restore the team back to its glory days. Their take-off in the current season has been the worst in years. Club’s spokesperson Clifford Mogomotsi could not hide his happiness following the signing of new players. Mogomotsi said they are rebuilding the team and things look promising. “We were in a mess in the first round and now we are trying to re-build the team,” he said. Mogomotsi is confident that they will be strong in the second round and will fight to get out of the bottom half of the log. He warned that though the team will not be fighting for the championship, if others are not careful they will snatch it away. “If teams are not careful we will run away with the championship but our main aim is to move to the top half of the league,” he said.
