The Extension Gunners family is mourning the passing away of team chairman Phenyo Gothaang. According to reports, Gothaang was involved in a car accident on Saturday that brought about his demise. It is reported that the car he was travelling in was involved in a head on collision with another along the Lobatse/Gaborone road. Gunners’ spokesman Edwin Mabapa confirmed the passing away of their chairman Gothaang, saying it is a great loss not only to the family but also to the team. Mabapa said more information about the preparations of the burial will be communicated in due course. Gothaang was appointed to Gunners chairmanship in December 2015.
