The chairperson of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Netball World Youth Cup has expressed delight at how preparations are currently going. Prisca Mokgadi said with about 75 per cent of the work already done, they are now putting up some final touches of the preparations. Mokgadi is adamant that although there are some works that are a little behind schedule, they will be ready in time for the tournament’s starting date. Some 20 netballing countries will soon descend into Botswana to take part in Netball World Youth Cup that takes place from 8-16 July 2017. Mokgadi insisted that they are going to deliver not only a successful competition but the one that meets the highest international standards. She said preparations are currently continuing well with only a few things behind time. “Everything is coming to conclusion and we will soon be starting the operation to hype the competition and take it to the people,” she said.
