Mochudi Centre Chiefs officials have refuted claims that the club will relegate to first division at the end of this season. Talks have been rife that the Kgatleng outfit will ply their trade in first division next season following the team’s rough start in the league this season. For the better part of the season Chiefs have been living dangerously on the relegation zone. However, Chiefs’ spokesperson Clifford Mogomotsi insisted on Friday that the team will not relegate. Mogomotsi said they are slowly getting the rhythm as they continue working on their problems. “Our problem has always been scoring and we are working hard on this regard so that we get goals to win the matches,” he said. Mogomotsi said the team’s problems have been much documented more that the efforts that they are making to prepare the team, hence people only saw them going down. He said despite all this the team remained resolute and confident that it will not relegate. “We have been having talks with the players and the management to show them that we have big projects before us and they all agreed that Chiefs will not drop,” he said.
