
Botswana Premier League Disciplinary Committee (BPL DC) has found Township Rollers players Joel Mogorosi guilty of bringing the game of football to disrepute as well as using abusive language towards another player. The BPL DC found Mogorosi fined him P5000 and imposed a three-game suspension on him after presentation of fitness test report by a qualified medical doctor to BPL. He was further warned against future misconduct.According to a report from BPL office, the DC imposed the judgment in terms of article 13 of Botswana Premier League Play Rules and Regulations. Mogorosi was charged with contravention of articles 14.4 and 25.6 of Botswana Football Association Play Rules & Regulations.The judgement follows a hearing in which Mogorosi was dragged before the after utterances he made when he was withdrawn from Rollers match against Sharps Shooting Stars on 22nd October 2017 at UB. He was charged with misbehaviour of bringing the game of football to disrepute contrary to article 25.6. The second charge related to using what was deemed as abusive language contrary to article 14.4 of BFA Play Rules and regulations.
