While Mochudi Centre Chiefs situation in the league seems to be deteriorating by the week, club officials however remain optimistic that things will turn around. The team has currently reached its lowest, sitting at position 14 with only 15 points from 16 games. Out of the last 10 games they played they have won only two, drawn two and lost six. Chiefs’ spokesperson Clifford Mogomotsi has downplayed the matter, saying they are currently rebuilding the team and are optimistic of finishing in their set target of Top 8. The Kgatleng outfit is said to be looking to change its technical team as well as bolster its squad. This is a move to at least rescue the team from its current position to a better one and avoid relegation. Mogomotsi said relegation is out of the table as they still have time to turn things around. “Relegation is total out. We still have the chance to finish in the Top 8 bracket as there are still 14 games still remaining. Currently, if we win two games we will break into top 8 brackets,” he argued.
