
Attention now shifts to Young Africans as Township Rollers start devising a plan to overthrow them in the first round of the CAF Champions League. Rollers will take on Young Africans of Tanzania in the next round after their convincing 4-2 aggregate win over Al-Merrikh of Sudan. Despite the 2-1 loss midweek in Sudan Rollers made it to the next round following their 3-0 win at home. Rollers spokesperson Bafana Pheto said they are happy with how the team played against Al-Merrikh. Pheto congratulated the players for the good play they displayed both at home and in Sudan. However, he hastened to say the celebrations are now over and they are now looking at the next chapter. “We are happy that we are proceeding to the next round but now the focus has to shift to beating the next opponent,” he said in an interview. Pheto said they are now studying their next opponents so that they can beat them to move even closer to their target.
