Chiefs on fishing expedition - DC

Mochudi Centre Chief are not accepting the dismissal of their case against the use of Ofentse Nato by Township Rollers. When reading the judgment Busang Manewe, who chaired the Disciplinary Committee (DC), said that they believe Mochudi Centre Chiefs are a very experienced team which should have lodged their protest with the match official on the day of the game. He said they chose the Local Organising Committee (LOC) chairman who does not report to the Premier league about how the game went. He said it was clear that Chiefs were just in a fishing expedition to try and see themselves at the finals after they failed on the pitch. He said that since they said that they used the verbal protest before and after the game, they had to use the BFA rule which states that protest has to be made to a match official. “We get to the conclusion that no protest was made. Mochudi Centre Chiefs officials are experienced on the matters of football and they should have done better than lodging a protest to the chairman when they could have lodged it with the match official.
