
Local football pundits have slammed South Africa’s premiership outfit Mamelodi Sundowns for destroying the career of local talented lanky midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele. Tsotso, as Ngele is popularly known, has not had a good spell since securing a move to the Tshwane-based side in the 2015 season from Platinum Stars. He has been rotating clubs through short term loan spells to teams such as Bidvest Wits and Supersport United. Pundits have expressed concern on how lack of game for Ngele from Pitso Mosimane’s star-studded led side is killing his career and momentum as well. Their comments follow an outburst by the coach who founded and groomed Ngele from a young age. Veteran coach Matshediso Kowa blasted Sundowns last year for abusing Ngele by refusing to release to clubs that can give him game time. Local coach Rapelang Tsatsilebe said the situation that Ngele finds himself in at the moment should be a cause for concern for the player and the technical team of national team as well.
