Having reached the Mascom Top 8 final this season Jwaneng Galaxy are however more desperate about winning their first Premier league title. They feel they deserve it this year. Galaxy have turned into one of the powerhouses in the local football since their promotion to the top flight in the 2015\16 season. Last year they were strong contenders for the title but lost out to the most decorated local side, Township Rollers. The team’s spokesperson Tankiso Morake is confident under the mentorship of Portuguese mentor Miguel Da Costa they are more desperate of winning the first ever league title following the impressive perfomances in the previous campaigns. “We have been doing quite well in challenging for the league title as we finished on position two in the 2016\17, 2017\18 respectively. We finished on position 7 on our debut season which 2015\2016 but currently we are in a good position to challenge for the title as well,” he said.
