The Zebras have left the country for Comoros where they will play in the AFCON qualifiers match. The Zebras go to Comoros in search for maximum points to improve their group D standing. Peter Butler’s charges are currently third in Group D with three points. This follows their loss to Uganda in the opening match and a hard fought win over Burkina Faso. The Zebras are looking to continue the win as it takes on Comoros on March 24, 2016. Only one team per group will qualify automatically for the finals of the 2017 AFCON. As a result The Zebras will have to mount up a very good fight to qualify, which will be only for the second time in the history of the team. Butler has assembled a 24-man team. After the Thursday game Butler’s men will come back home and host Comoros at Francistown stadium in the second leg of the competition. The Zebras have recently complained of insufficient preparations. Despite this, hopes are still high that they will put up a good performance to beat opponents. Comoros are lowly placed in the FIFA ranking than Botswana and some believe this could be an advantage for the mighty…
