
He is one of the most successful coaches in the country. He boosts of three Premier League titles and has just added the first Mascom Top 8 title to his trophy cabin. Orapa United coach Madinda Ndlovu is on cloud nine – feeling hugely fulfilled in his heart after his latest success. The urge to win the Mascom Top 8 has haunted him for some time. He said that the feeling couldn’t be any better, especially when getting the trophy from his former team by not only whipping them but performing exceptionally well. It was in 2005 when he first assumed a coaching role in Botswana. He looks back on these last 10 years as exceptional – he has shown huge results in any team that he has coached. The first time he came in was to work with Township Rollers where he nurtured players like Jomo Moatlhaping, Phenyo Mongala and Mogogi Gabonamong who under his tutelage saw themselves getting call ups to work outside the country.
