The Managing Director of Lavendar Projects (Company owning LKC), Garry Wills, has said they are looking to develop world class rugby players at Livingstone Kolobeng College (LKC). Wills said the school’s men rugby team - ‘The Jaguars’ - is evidence to their intention. The Jaguars, which were formed last year, have since set high standards in their maiden year. The team finished second in the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) league in the first year of their competition in the league. Wills said this shows how serious they are with the development of rugby at the school. As the team is now looking to surpass its achievements in the coming season, the management has organised a rugby tour for The Jaguars to Wales, United Kingdom. A delegation of 30 will go on the tour from the 18 – 29 February 2016. However, Wills pointed out that even though they want the players to be exposed to top class rugby, the tour will not only be for playing rugby as it will also be a cultural and educational trip.
