Newly crowned Mascom Top 8 champions Jwaneng Galaxy are fired up for the BTC premiership honours. Galaxy are currently in a good position to challenge for the title. The Jwaneng side is currently in position two with three points behind log leaders Township Rollers. However, Galaxy Chairman Njabulo Gilika said they will not be pressurising themselves to win the league. Though Gilika does not totally take the league out of the picture he said they will be taking each game as it comes and winning the league will be a bonus for them. “The league is a marathon, so we will be taking each game as it comes. We will not be pressurising ourselves to win the league,” he said. However, he believes that with the team they have if they can keep the form that the team has shown over the weeks they can win the league. Galaxy started the season on a low note but eventually found its form and held on to it.
