
The Premier League side Sharps Shooting Stars have come out as one of the busiest teams in the current transfer market as they prepare for the new season set to start in two weeks’ time. To beef up their squad, the club has acquired the services of one of the highly rated goalkeepers and Zimbabwean international Takudzwa Ndoro in two–year deal. Ndoro, who is former Zimbabwe national team and BDF XI goal stopper, has completed his move to the Gaborone-based team from the Zimbabwean Premier League side Bulawayo City. He came in the right for the club following the departure of the veteran Raphael Nthwane, who has been since reported that he is taking break from football. Nthwane was pivotal in helping the team to secure a Top 8 finish in the premier league debut season. Ndoro played for BDF XI and is remembered for the heroic performance he pulled out against Township Rollers in the penalty shoot-out during the 2014 Mascom Top 8 final, which remains the only tournament that he has won in Botswana after a long trophy less stint at the then formidable relegated Phikwe-based Nico United.
