
All roads are leading to Eswatini for the 2019 Inter-Campus games of the Institute of Development Management (IDM). The annual event, which rotates around the three countries of Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini is a key feature in IDM’s students’ calendar and gives them exposure to appreciate the regionality of their Institute. It attracts hundreds of students and well-wishers in the three nations. According to Lovemore Rabothaako, IDM Botswana member of the Students Representative Council (SRC) and also Minister of Sports, the event creates an opportunity for them to engage in their deep sporting tradition and further promotes their different cultures. “It is a moment where we come together as one IDM from our three countries and engage in a healthy and friendly competition that grows us spiritually, physically and emotionally. The games also give us the opportunity to create an institutional bond between Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini as well as cultivate lasting friendships amongst us as students. We are indeed grateful to IDM leadership for affording us this opportunity for growth beyond our studies,” he said.
